An error occurs if the microphone is disabled in your computer settings. To resolve the issue:

  1. Press the Win + R key combination.

  2. Type mmsys.cpl and press Enter.

  3. Go to the Recording tab and double-click on your microphone.

  4. Ensure the microphone status is set to "Enable":

  5. Go to the Levels tab. If the volume indicator is crossed out, click on it and increase the volume:

  6. Restart the Examus check.
