Checking your computer before the exam

The Examus system check allows you to make sure that your device is ready for the proctored exam – that your webcam and microphone work, and your browser is allowed to record your screen.


Although any proctored Examus test always starts with a system check, we recommend that you run the check a day before the exam – It will save you time and nerves during the actual exam.


Here's what you need to do:

  1. Make sure your computer meets the minimum technical requirements.
  2. Open the standalone computer check page.
  3. Allow Examus to use your camera and mic, and give your browser permission to record your screen.
