Why do I need an ID?

Modified on Wed, 03 Aug 2022 at 03:03 PM

Proctored exams require you to take a photo of your ID before the exam starts. That's because proctors must be sure that the test is taken by the same person that signed up for it.

Usually, a passport will be required to verify your identity. However, some institutions allow students to use driver's license, foreign passport, and other documents for verification. In advance of the test, please check with its organizers on what documents would be suitable for identification.

Note that your name in the document used for verification must fully match your profile in the testing system.

Note: If the names don't match, please contact the educational institution or the testing representatives and ask them to change it. Examus support can't change your data on the testing system.
