Make sure that you provide Examus access to the camera and microphone in pop-up windows when you start checking. Pop-up windows must be enabled in the browser settings:

Google Chrome - chrome://settings/content/popups

Yandex Browser - browser://settings/content

Microsoft Edge - edge://settings/content/popups


Make sure that access to the camera and the microphone. Examus must be listed under the "Allow" heading and must not be listed under the "Block" heading (if it is on this list, remove it):

Google Chrome - chrome://settings/content/camera and chrome://settings/content/microphone 


Yandex Browser - browser://settings/content


Microsoft Edge - edge://settings/content


If these settings do not include a microphone and a camera, make sure that these devices are connected to the computer and turned on. Check the operation of the microphone in the system according to these instructions: https://help.examus.net/en/support/solutions/articles/36000306859


If you are using device with Windows 8 or newer - you must grant additional access to the camera and microphone for browser. Please, follow this instruction:   https://help.examus.net/en/support/solutions/articles/36000302839 


If you are using device with macOS 10.14 Mojave or newer - you must grant additional access to the camera and microphone for browser.

1. Choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy.

2. Choose «Camera».

3. Select the checkbox next to an app to allow it to access your camera.

4. Repeat these steps with «Microphone»

If you see these settings, but can't change it - unlock Security & Privacy preferences. Click the lock icon to unlock it, then enter an administrator name and password.
