WebRTC: TCP/UDP network test

Modified on Wed, 11 May 2022 at 10:36 AM

If you can't pass the Examus system check before the exam, please take the WebRTC test. If the test fails on TCP or UDP, it means that your TCP/UDP traffic is blocked.

In this case, we recommend that you do the following:

  • Disable your system firewall for the duration of the test.
  • Turn off your anti-virus or router firewall for the duration of the test;
  • Contact your ISP provider and ask them to unblock the following ports:
    • TCP: 443 (HTTPS), 3478 (STUN/TURN)
    • UDP: 3478 (STUN/TURN), 49152 - 65535 (WebRTC media)

If there is no possibility to unblock these ports or the problem persists despite the changes – use another Internet connection that is not restricted to TCP/UDP traffic.
