General checklist for passing system check for macOS:

 

· Clear browser cache using Command+Shift+R and reboot browser. For this – enter chrome://restart for Google Chrome in new tab (browser://restart if you using Yandex.Browser or edge://restart for Microsoft Edge) press Enter, then try to login again;

· Also browsers can use the cache from Safari. For clearing cache in Safari:

   1. Select the first item "Safari" in the main menu and from the drop-down the item "Preferences..."

   2. A popup opens. Click on the tab "Advanced".

   3. Check the option "Show Develop menu in menu bar" at the bottom. Now you should see a new menu item in the main menu named "Develop".

   4. If you click on the menu item "Develop" you can select "Empty Caches" from the submenu items.

· Make sure that you click on Share button in the Provide access to the screen window at the beginning of the check:

· Make sure that you provide Examus access to the camera and microphone in pop-up windows when you start checking. Pop-up windows must be enabled in the settings:

· On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, then click Privacy».

· Select «Camera».

· Select the checkbox next to an app to allow it to access the camera.

· Repeat these steps for "Microphone" and "Screen Recording"

· Make sure that access to the camera and microphone is allowed in the settings for Examus:

Google Chrome - chrome://settings/content/camera and chrome://settings/content/microphone


Yandex.Browser - browser://settings/content 


Microsoft Edge - edge://settings/content/camera and edge://settings/content/microphone 

Examus must be listed under the "Allow" heading and must not be listed under the "Block" heading (if it is on this list, remove it);


· Check can't be done right if room not enough lit or camera was blocked by something;

· Check the availability and speed of your Internet connection (use the service https://yandex.ru/internet/). The minimum stable data transferring rate from the user (upload) is not less than 1 Mb/s, the recommended one is 2 Mb/s.

· Make sure that access to the camera and microphone is not blocked by antivirus. To disable the Firewall McAfee on your Mac:

   1. Right-click the McAfee icon in the menu bar.

   2. Click (product name) Console. For example, LiveSafe Console.

   3. Click Mac Security, or click the gear icon at the top-right corner.

   4. Click Firewall.

   5. Click the lock to make changes, then type your password.

   6. Click the slider to turn off the Firewall.

   7. Click the lock again to prevent further changes.

· Check that there is no other applications that capture video stream (Skype, Webcammax, etc.) launched. Use the Activity Monitor to shut down these applications correctly (press Command + Alt + Esc, select the application and click Quit or Force Quit);

· It is forbidden to use services for remote administration such as TeamViewer;

· Make sure that you use the most current version of your browser.;

· Check your computer's operating system (OS) version. To make Google Chrome work correctly use Mac OS X El Capitan 10.11 or newer (or Mac OS X Sierra 10.12  and newer, if you use Yandex.Browser or Microsoft E);
