This error occurs if the broadcast is blocked by antivirus software, the room is too dark, or the webcam is closed.


First of all, check your webcam using this webcam test.  If you can see on your screen the image that your webcam is taking then that means that it works correctly. 


If this didn't help, follow the instructions below:

  • Check webcam is not obscured and that there is enough light in the room;
  • Temporarily turn off your antivirus and firewall;
  • Check if your browser has permission to use a webcam (Windows 8/10/11 or macOS);
  • Turn off any other software that can use your webcam: Skype, Discord, TeamViewer, Zoom, etc.;
  • Are you using a Lenovo laptop? Go to Camera Settings and enable image transmission;
  • Try another browser (Google Chrome, Yandex Browser, and Microsoft Edge are supported) or a different webcam.
