Testing rules: what's allowed / prohibited

Your university or organization determines the testing rules and the list of items allowed on your desk during the test. 


Before the test starts, check with your testing organizer on what items can be used during the exam.


During the test, you will see a list of rules in the upper right corner of the Examus panel:



Those items that are allowed to be used during the test are highlighted in green, and those that are prohibited are highlighted in gray.


List of rules

Using a calculator is allowed
Using Excel is allowed 
Unauthorized help is allowed
Using books is allowed
Messenger apps are allowed
Use of drafts is permitted 
Use of websites is permitted
Talking during testing is allowed
Looking away from the monitor is allowed


General rules for taking proctored tests:


Note: If a proctor sees any prohibited items on your desk, it can affect test results.
