Can I take an exam on my smartphone?

Modified on Thu, 15 Sep 2022 at 02:12 PM

Taking a proctored exam on a smartphone is possible if the test organizer has enabled this feature.

If your exam instructions do not mention taking the exam on a smartphone, please use a desktop computer or laptop that meets the minimum technical requirements

Starting an exam on a mobile device:

  1. Open the exam link sent by your test organizer on a smartphone.
  2. Download the Examus mobile app.
  3. Click Continue in the browser.
  4. Grant the Examus app permission to switch to the lock mode: you won’t be able to receive calls, messages, or use any applications until the exam is finished.

Technical requirements:

  • Android 8.0+ or iOS 13.4+ device;
  • 1GB RAM (3GB and more recommended).

Notes:

  • We can’t guarantee the app works correctly on all devices. If you have a trial exam attempt, please use it to test the Examus mobile app on your smartphone/tablet.
  • When you open the exam in the mobile app, you will need to re-log in to your account on the learning platform that hosts the exam.
